Hello, and weeeelllllcome to my page here at regio active, Germany.

I am a singer-songwriter from Australia.
I am based now in Germany.
I play guitar, lap-slide guitar, harmonica, piano, stomp box, six-string ukulele/mandolin, bass and percussion.
I also sing.
I have written more than 1000 songs. (Ja, das du hast recht gehoert... Ich habe mehr als 1000 songs geschrieben...)

I play solo shows in Germany, Australia, Holland, Switzerland, UK, Ireland, Austria etc. I also have at least two duos - one with Alan Doherty (Irish Flute Meister) and one with Jens Washy Syllwasschy (guitar and vocals). I'm working on a a third duo with a concert violinist as well.

I'm trying to upload some new songs to this website but it's all in German which is a ganze schwere sprache fur mich. Es tut mir sehr leid... aber...

I wasn't really alive in 1937... that is just a joke. My first job after high school was as singer-songwriter in a restaurant in Toowoomba, Queensland. I played three nights a week. I've been doing it pretty much ever since. I've also worked as a taxi driver, a postal worker, an investigative journalist, a PR manager, a national magazine editor etc.

I started playing my songs for a living, as a profi, in 2001.
I am co-founder of the wildly successful original music concerts held 24 times each year at the Peregian Originals which you can find easily on Facebook. These concerts prove that people do not in fact want to listen to endless cover songs... but to fresh, new, original songs. More than 1000 people come to the Peregian Originals twice each month. The Peregian Originals celebrated it's 10th anniversary in 2010 and myself and the other co-founder, Jay Bishoff, were both awarded Australia Day medallion awards for services to the community in 2002.
